Arias Support Up 20 Points In The Polls
Following several months of declining public support, Costa Rican president, Oscar Arias, is again becoming well liked. According to the latest poll, public support for the president has risen considerably, 20 more out of every 100 persons think he is doing a "buena" (good) or "muy buena" (very good) job since August 2008.

A man who stalked and assaulted only women in Escazú and only during the day is now in the hands of police after being captured by members of the Fuerza Pública.

Reno-based wind turbine manufacturer Mariah Power has expanded onto the international stage with its first Windspire installation in Latin America.
