Economic Plan Tonight
Costa Rican president, Oscar
Arias, is expected to
announce his economic
plan to face the world
financial crisis
tonight.
Homicides Up 24.6% Over Last Year
A study by the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ) reveals
that homicides are up 24.6% over last year. The oIJ reports 86 more
homicide cases in 2008 over the the 2007.

Merck Sharp & Dome, (MSD, the international developer, manufacturer
and distributor of pharmaceuticals, in an effort to reduce costs has
announced the decision to close its Costa Rica operation, putting

decline

tourists
this
year and
focusing

Europeans,
they
seem to
be
ignoring
the
skies.

unsolicited calls from unknown phone numbers. The goal of the Web
site is to provide the public with a tool for compiling questionable
