Heredia Derailed Indefinitely
The San Jose - Heredia train has been
temporarily derailed when the Instituto
Costarricense de Ferrocarriles (Incofer)
could not settle a dispute with a land owner
who says he is affected by the railway work
at the edge of his property and the judges
decided to have "peritos" investigate the
complaint.
Escazú Tolls Going Up
¢10 Today!
It's been less than a month since the Escazú
tolls began and already the Autopistas del
Soll will be increasing the amount by ¢10
colones.

Warning Of Nestle Toll House Cookies
The ministerio de Salud has issued an alert
for Neslte's Tool House products aftet the
US Food and Drug Administration said earlier
this week that it had confirmed the presence
of E. coli 0157, a deadly strain of
bacteria, in samples of Nestlé Toll House
refrigerated cookie dough produced at the
company's plant in Danville, Virginia.

Bogota - Colombian Foreign Minister Jaime Bermudez
denied the presence of a US military base in the
national territory on Tuesday, and affirmed that the
