Terrorists stay away from Costa Rica, now that it has a new anti-terrorism law, that was signed by Costa Rican president, Oscar Arias, on Wednesday, that gives Costa Rican authorities more ammunition to fight organized crime in the country.

Annual Inspection Of Fishing Boats Begins in Guanacaste
(InfoWebPress) – Starting Feb. 24, the Ministry of Transportation and Public Infrastructure’s (MOPT) Division and Navigation and Safety began inspecting all boats dedicated to fishing in the province of Guanacaste. This work will be done in coordination with the Port Captaincy of Playas del Coco.
Lack of fire hydrants converted five "humildes viviendas" into ashes in Barrio Lourdes de Aserrí, San José. Fire fighters were quick to respond to the 11am call, but found that the nearest fire hydrant was 1 kilometre away and the tanker truck could enter the barrio. Fortunately no on was hurt in the mid day blaze.

A baby blue whale filmed off Costa Rica is thought to have been the youngest ever captured on camera, according to a National Geographic documentary to air Sunday.
