Public Buses Continue To Be A Menace
Some public transport buses are menace on the roads and there is nothing the Policía de Tránsito can do to curb the situation, according to the director of the police unit, Germán Marín.

Work on the autopista Prospero Fernández  (San José - Escazú  - Santa Ana) highway should be completed by May, when the highway becomes six lanes between San José - Escazú  and continues to Santa Ana on four lanes. Final construction and expansion of the bridge west of Plaza Itzakazu, will make driving through the area even worse beginning this Saturday, when more lane closures will go into effect. Avoid the area if possible.

Semana Santa is a week for Costa Ricans to take time off work and enjoy the last few days of the dry or summer weather before the rainy season commences. This year, however, due to the April 11 holiday, the number of paid holiday days equals to three and the typical two.
