"Today is only yesterday's tomorrow"

Time just seems to slip by and return no more before we get a chance to reflect on its magnitude. I/We just float along and ride with the tide so much of the time; some of us never realize that we are in charge of our destination.

I’m not foolish enough to think we can change the events of life around us, but we are sure going to be affected by our attitudes and actions each and every day of our lives, and our lives affect those that are around us also in one way or another much of the time; IE: we are not able to change the automobile accident in front of us but, we can be astute enough to not be involved in it if we use the common sense (rational thought processes) we should have developed for our own  well being.

Do you plan your day’s work and play activities, or does the day just unfold in front of you? Are you the captain of your ship or are you a follower of the captain? Do you make the decisions that will format the quality of your future, or does fate do it for you?

People a whole lot smarter than I seem to think so and I have to agree that we have the potential to choose our own fate.

Does your destiny depend on the outcome of today? Of course it does! What you do today surely will, and should, determine your position and condition tomorrow.

Our daily lives are like building blocks to our destinations; the goals we set for ourselves.

Today is only yesterday's tomorrow is a true statement but what does it mean to your life?

     - Do you just kind of let tomorrow govern your life?

     - Is today a continuation of  complacency?

     - Are you that conceited, arrogant, autonomous, and self-governing that you can afford to just let the day happen and think everything will come out perfectly tomorrow?

- I did not realize that “The Almighty” had come down to earth in your form!

No man is an island; a self-standing entity. The island is dependant on the environs for survival in every instance. It may weather the storms that abound in the area but it’s surface is changed, be it ever so slightly, every day by it’s surrounding area.

Cherish, attach importance to the daily routine of life, its substance governs the rest of your life and sometimes unexpectedly those that inhabit your space!

Be attentive to your daily habitual and "normal" routines. Make sure they are consistent with your goals in life.
