Broker than…

Life goes on…

For more than a year now, my e-mailbox has been occasionally filled by letters from investors who were devastated by their loss of monthly income that was generated so generously The Brothers.

Some of these victims even indicate and emphasize their precarious situation by picking a handle – an e-mail name – that reminds everyone relentlessly and continuously how financially disadvantaged they are.

“No hope…”, “Broker than…” and other catchy indications of monetary distress show the incompetence of their owners… and their complete lack of action…

The truth is that these names were picked to allow their proprietors to wallow in their own chosen depths of misery and despair, an artificially created environment.

Well, most of the investors who did manage to put all of their eggs in one basket and gamble the farm through the House of the Wolves have grieved deeply and repented economically. They confronted their family members honestly and they shared the truth with the friends whom they introduced into this dark pit of greed and wistful thinking.

They have taken this experience and chalked it up as a very good lesson…

One of my friends, a guy I met only because he was a fellow investor, ended his life recently in the great city of Phoenix.

The truth is, this particular dude would have probably done himself in if the weather had pissed him off…

Don’t misunderstand me, he was my friend but he made me realize that bystanders are as helpless as little children in adult situations. (So long, Roger.)

“The school of life is great… as long as you can afford the tuition…”

What? Has skyboy totally lost his mind and given up?

No, he hasn’t.

Skyboy never gives up! Skyboy invested a large chunk of change with Enrique and Osvaldo and will relentlessly pursue this matter until some kind of closure has been achieved.

Riding with Skyboy on this journey are some 1400 fellow investors who hang on his every word.

Really, not because he is such a brilliant orator but just because they have an interest in this as well and more than often this involves sums much larger than his measly change!

Skyboy is not any better than they are; he just has a Big List.

(Good Gawd, I hate talking about myself in the third person… it just isn’t right!)

The truth is that the large majority of investors – even though they still want their hard earned cash back from Villalobos – have moved on one way or the other.

There are more than just a couple of individuals I would like to use to set an example but for space and times’ sake, I will only utilize two of them.

The most obvious one is “broker_than…”. This guy has made it his life’s calling to inform the masses of his hopelessly financial circumstance.

Well, join the club, Broker. I am here to tell you that the large majority of investors have moved on and are living a life. Not only have they moved on, they are already investing in similar opportunities and gaining financial ground!

They are not dwelling on the horrid past but they are enthusiastically embracing life. Becoming a productive asset is a step in the right direction…I sincerely hope you will take it.

Sure, a refund of principal from don Enrique or continued interest payments would be a welcome break for many but most of his investor-friends are not hinging their well being on this fact alone.

They do not depend on the investment they made with him but are already pursuing different avenues of profit; some have earned back their “loss” in a different manner.

The most high profile and involved activists in this saga are all right, much like myself, they have moved on and are earning a living or they are back in school pursuing their dreams.

So, what is it with these destitute Calamity Jane’s who only have their own misery to wallow in?

A certain doctor, I’ll call him “Grinning Tommie” in order to protect his real identity, is burdening the boards with his opinionated house calls of despair and destruction.

All that this man has proven to me is that in his opinion, the Hippocratic oath is standing squarely in his way of Big Profit and a Fast Buck. This particular individual “loves” medicine so much that he practices in the US of A for just a few months so he can spend the rest of the year sitting on his fat opinionated ass in the rainforest while broadcasting his slanted views to the very few who read the boards of boredom…

When Yahoo and the likes invented these “public” boards, they knew that there was enough of a National Enquirer crowd of self-indulging losers to fill them up.

Who better than to throw on-line advertisements at than these idiots???

I am not a physician but I am certain that scalpels were invented to aid healing instead of cutting throats… just my uneducated five cents worth…

As for me, I made it my goal early on to re-earn what I placed with don Enrique. As of December of this year, I am financially fully restored. My heart does go out to the ones who are forced into retirement and who did gamble beyond their capabilities.

No, it does not make you a “lesser” human being unless you blatantly ignore the experiences that can be gained from all this.

But I tell you; after “experiencing” Costa Rica and The Brothers I have concluded that retirement is for the birds.

What a useless and empty life.

Sitting around with this “I’m done” look on my pathetically wrinkled face.

What is this about? Waiting for death?

Jeez-Louise, I would rather push carts around at the Arkansas Institute for the Aging (Wal-Mart) and say: “Welcome to the Hyper-Center, do you need a buggy???”

Enrique Villalobos never let anyone down in some 23 years so when you decide do this to yourself, so be it. Only you can change your own life.

Be aware that this puts you in the vast minority of investors. I am not saying that you should be sending your dough to Oz or other similar investment opportunities but I am telling you that reminding yourself of a presumed failure is no way to go about it.

Change your e-mail name to “Recovered” or “The Great Healer” and let the masses know that you ARE bigger than life.

Maybe then you will earn the respect of your fellow investors.
