Enrique’s Business, Part
One
• And welcome to the much awaited Part One, sequel to Part Two.
(George Lucas isn't the only one who can throw stuff out of order…)
By Hank, ICR Columnist
Where is our money?
Is it still intact?
Is it working for us?
Will we get paid?
Will it be Interest or Principal?
Good questions that deserve good answers. Enrique is not around to do this in person so let's do this for him, all right?
While our confidant and holder of our funds is in either Guanacaste or Nicaragua, according to assumptions published in the El Dia newspaper last Tuesday, we are left holding the bag…an empty bag…and we ponder these questions again and again.
The last statement from Luis Enrique Villalobos Camacho came to us through legal channels. His words, carefully edited by his attorneys, were delivered to Jose Miguel Villalobos and included in the Habeus Corpus, now part of the case files.
Members of Enrique's Inner Circle, including Osvaldo, are repeating time and again that our funds are not only safe but that it is continuing to work it's green little butt off.
Is this a true statement or just a carefully planned public relations spin for guys like me to forward so the masses stand patiently waiting in trust and confidence?
Jose Miguel, OUR attorney, who carries the same family name as the Famed Trustee of our hard earned funds is a capable and ingenious counselor. If anyone has a snowball's chance in hell to see this through for us, JMV is it!
Let me tell you something that is extremely important:
I believe in Jose Miguel Villalobos. I believe that this man has it in him to make or break this stalemate.
For the record, it is not a "stalemate" per se, as I have written before, this matter has slowed to a "Legal Pace" and because of this, developments are scarce and there is no daily CNN-like breaking news nor are there earth shattering events requiring immediate reporting.
In spite of this, things are in motion. Undetectably slow perhaps but inching forward nonetheless…
Problem in reality: "Why haven't Enrique's and Osvaldo's attorneys accomplished what JMV has?
Well, the answer may be troubling. Although the reputations of these legal teams are questioned at times, the fact is that the father and son firm of Mejias and Mejias, Enrique's attorneys, are among the best and most qualified in Costa Rica. With the help of Walter Soto and even Edgardo Garcia, Osvaldo's lawyer, they form a formidable team and should be capable of achieving results of the likes of Jose Miguel Villalobos.
Then, why have they not?
There may be a reason for that…
Keep in mind that if Jose Miguel, OUR attorney, manages to clear all of the legal obstacles out of Enrique and Osvaldo's way, we still will not begin receiving interest or principal checks by a long shot.
This scenario may put them in a position to pick up their business where it was left, but it will be Enrique and Osvaldo's decision what to do next.
A victory by JMV will squarely place the ball in The Brother's Court.
Nothing more… nothing less…
But I want that to happen!
I want JMV to win and put The Brothers in that position.
I want JMV to succeed and give Enrique and Osvaldo the opportunity to do what is right!
I want JMV to score a touchdown so Osvaldo can walk out of San Sebastian into the waiting arms of his brother and I want their embrace to encompass us all!
I want Jose Miguel Villalobos to put the ball in The Brothers' Court…
Don't get me wrong; I firmly believe that without the unjust intervention of the Costa Rican government last year, Enrique would still be paying interest like clockwork. This business that ran like a well-oiled machine for more than two decades, would still be running as smooth today as it did all those years.
But times have changed. An evil prosecutor with an agenda that will make you sick to your stomach has put us where we are today. Not only has he maneuvered 6289 known investors into a precarious position, he has done the same to Enrique and Osvaldo.
These brothers are not what they used to be…
Their business might have been successful at one time, without this interference, but it is very possible that it is a different story now.
Try this one on for size:
Take your "Anywhere Town" Bank and Trust, ok?
What do you think their response would be if they were forced to close their doors and all of their clients demanded their deposits - or principal investments - at the same time?
The poor bank would have to make special arrangements or offer an alternative deal, a possible payout schedule while recruiting new customers fast or, in a worst case scenario, call the Federal Deposit and Insurance Commission and scream like little girls for financial help!
Now, let's make it worse, shall we?
Let us take the Bank's Manager and throw him in the Pokey, just because we want to and the local law allows us this indiscretion. And let us send the Bank President's picture to Interpol, because we want him for "questioning"…
And let us dupe these hardworking and innocent people even more by removing the FDIC from this equation…
What do you think is going to happen with the bank's funds and the bank's business?
Enrique, with his incredible foresight and understanding saw this one coming months before everyone else did.
I mean, really, do you think that "hiding out" is a spontaneous act?
Hell no, it is not!
It is a very well prepared and carefully orchestrated event. It requires extreme planning and lots of in-depth preparation to be successful and sustained.
The same holds true for the legal aspects.
The reason that the "Dream Teams" have not accomplished anything may very well be part of a carefully planned strategy:
With the business taken away from The Brothers, The Brothers cannot conduct business.
So why put them in a position to conduct a business that no longer exists?
Remember, the "Dream Teams" do not work for the investors. Everything that they say and do is only for the benefit of their clients, Enrique and Osvaldo Villalobos Camacho.
Sure, we may benefit from their legal achievements some as they would from a JMV victory but that is not their prime objective…
If the man who paid his investors like clockwork for 23 years and apparently manages to pay his attorneys to keep the representation in place but does nothing beyond that, what else is there?
If The Absent Brother who regularly communicates with his family, legal teams and trusted go-betweens cannot speak a word to his friends and lenders, what could the reason be?
If UCCR in Jose Miguel Villalobos has found a powerful ally and possible solution to this undue drama, why can't The Brothers openly and publicly support this effort and give it their blessing?
I sympathize with the fact that Enrique and Osvaldo's worst enemies are the investors, but Osvaldo, who privately speaks highly of JMV, has never publicly stated support for his efforts although he personally stands to benefit greatly.
Paranoia is understandably running very high among The Brothers and their family members, but even Osvaldo, from the "safety" of incarceration, can do a hell of a lot for the peace of mind of the Investor Group.
Osvaldo knows as much as Enrique does about the business. Sure, there can only be one captain on any ship but even the first mate knows what the course is and at which harbor the anchor will be dropped next.
If Enrique is afraid that he may be jeopardizing his safety by making public statements, then why isn't his brother - and equal business partner - doing this for him?
We are not talking about transferring funds and creating paper trails that could aid the little evil Walter, we are talking about Support from a Friend who must realize that OUR HELP COULD MEAN HIS SALVATION!!!
Well, maybe this salvation is not wanted. Maybe the time for this has long passed. Maybe we are searching for something that no longer exists.
And maybe we will now fully and finally realize the extreme damage that has been inflicted upon us by a greedy and stupid government.
Again: with the business taken away from The Brothers, The Brothers cannot conduct business. So why put them in a position to conduct a business that no longer exists?
Frankly, what do I know?
I know that Enrique is just fine. But I also know that his communications are sparse, carefully worded and that no promises are being made. Just as the impotent prosecutor, we are learning that his hiding can be indefinite.
I know that his brother is fully aware of all of their business aspects. Don't let some manipulative fools tell you that Osvaldo is just a peon in all of this…he is not.
Walter knows this and that is why that he will do his utmost to keep the fall guy where he is today.
I tell you something else, it is a repeat of what is in Part Two but it needs to be emphasized.
We are beginning to have a pretty good idea how the money was made… and it was an honest business.
Clever? Heavens yes!
Ingenious? Somewhat… but the hard part was the required amount of planning, work and extreme discipline involved.
When is say "we", I am referring to Duke, others and myself. We have been a busy bunch. We have always believed in the honesty, integrity and trust of The Brothers, OUR Brothers, and we may build on this knowledge someday and continue where they were forced to leave off…
No, there was no drug trafficking going on.
Nope, there was no money laundering and Pablo Escobar was not part of the equation.
Although money exchange was a large part of the business, it was most certainly not the backbone.
Forget about white slavery, brown slavery or black slavery…forget about all the wonderful recreational substances produced by the coca and hemp plants, there is no connection!
Yes, it did put regulated financial counterparts at a disadvantage. These other enterprises did not have the opportunity nor do they possess the creativity to sail these uncharted waters and besides, building tall shiny towers is more their style.
You see, true creativity is a form of art that cannot be controlled. It is probably unwise to compare Enrique's art with that of, let's say, Maplethorpe or other controversial extroverts but the fact is that neither could flourish while being a victim of regulatory control and limitations set by government bodies without imagination.
When left alone, this kind of creative brilliance was a true from of art and history has shown its success and endurance. With the "help" of the government it finally succumbed and shriveled up.
If you have ever wondered while the true Lame Brains in all this can not stop questioning the "how did he do it" and blatantly ignore the government's vile crimes and overstepping of boundaries that is occurring, this is it! And let me say that it is not possible to defend creativity and free thinking that does not follow conservative lines of governmental control.
It is an impossible task…
Here's another one you should try on for size: if "Anywhere Bank and Trust" is not a Pyramid Scheme, then why are they constantly advertising, trying to win new customers and grow, grow, grow?
Why can't they be happy with the business and clients they already have?
Jeez, do you think they NEED the constant influx of new cash? Oh boy, something is wrong here, "Anywhere Bank" is a Con Job!
Enrique may never be able to return from Guanacaste or Nicaragua but in the end, his kind of business will prevail.
"Others" may consider taking over or continue what he started. I am certainly not in Walter's jurisdiction and as a Dutch National; I have a lot more financial freedom than my New World counterparts. (You people could vote, you know…)
You will know when the time is right...
So, here is the Bottom Line:
We NEED to support JMV because we NEED him to win.
We WANT him to succeed so the Evil Walter might be eliminated.
We NEED to get this done to put The Brothers in a position that will allow them to make their own decisions, unhindered by anything or anybody.
Please join me in this, support JMV to make all this possible. It will be a nearly improbable task to get there without his help. The "Dream Teams" have their own agendas, priorities and instructions. As I have explained, they do not have the same goals, intentions and urges as we do; they are doing what they are told to do by their clients.
We are not their clients…we are Jose Miguel Villalobos' clients!
All right, you ask: "what about HELMS and Arbitration?"
You know, when JMV calls me up and says: "I have done everything I could to no avail", then I will be the first to jump on the Arbitration Train. Even if it were just to punish this stupid government and their short-sighted ways…
OUR attorney has clearly stated that Arbitration and Helms do NOT interfere with his strategy. He welcomes the additional pressure on the CR government and although he has some differences of opinion, he acknowledged and applauded these efforts at the recent UCCR meeting.
Arbitration could eventually become our FDIC although it would not force The Brothers to show their true colors.
The Helms approach, although brilliantly discovered and put to use by our friend Skip, only applies to US Citizens with squeaky-clean IRS relations…you decide if you are!
With Skip's dedication and amazing brainpower, I would not be surprised if real results would be forthcoming sooner than you may think…
Jose Miguel Villalobos needs to see this through for us and I believe that he can, but not without our support. He is a lonely man out there even though he represents ALL of us.
Yes, including the ones that have not contributed! Financial hardship I appreciate, I met and talked to many of you who are destitute or close to financial ruin.
I will not blame you for risking and loosing all you had and the following Rant does NOT apply to you!
But for those who hide behind incredulous excuses and fabricated reasons not to contribute, who use meaningless phrases like: "I won't throw good money after bad…" I say this:
You chose to invest with The Brothers as a consenting adult. By weaseling your way out of contributing by quoting this childish and empty phrase you are disgracing yourself.
You profited handsomely when times were good, yet you refuse to come to the aid of your fellow investors.
We are in this together.
You have already proven than you are an outcast who does not believe in the possible good that may come to all of us.
Only you can change this…
Oh, I would not be able to sleep another night after a victory by JMV while knowing fully that I had not contributed one single red cent…
"I don't like the UCCR…" is another popular way of excusing one's miserly behavior…
Personally, I can think of much better excuses to pass the buck but I won't give you these for free…send me a stamped, self-addresses envelope with 100 dollars and I will return mail you better excuses than you have ever heard in your tightfisted lonely lives!!!
"Good money after bad…" give me a fricking break, you tight wadded simpletons!
To ride the coat tails of Good Luck for free is a low and dirty deed…
Anything will do to redeem your selves…$50, $100, $200 bucks.
Do what's right and do it NOW!!!

Now, is all lost?
Well, that depends.
If we allow the Pacheco Administration to get away with this by "fading away" as hoped by Walter you-know-who then yes, all will be lost forever.
If we face the music, consider even the most unpleasant possibilities but have the guts to take this head-on, we will have a chance to learn The Truth.
The Truth about The Brothers, the Truth about their intentions and the Truth about our Financial Fate.
A ship in the harbor may be safe but that is not what ships are made for.
