Fighting Dirty

In order to win, I have no qualms matching an adversary's questionable tactics.

But to fight for somebody who does not approve of these things, I become limited in my options and the resulting handicap reduces the power that I normally have available to me.

I have always wondered about the "Rules of War"... the total destruction and random loss of human life has rules? Play Station Two comes to mind...

We are savages.

During World War One, the "War to end all Wars", battling troops played soccer matches between fights and celebrated Christmas on their battle field.
Personally, I would have a little trouble blowing someone's brains out after singing "Oh Holy Night" together...

Those were the days; keep the civilian population out of it and just play chess with the soldiers.
Because that is essentially what war is anyway; sending young men to die in order to settle the arguments between geezers...

If "Little George" has his way, the biggest bully on the block will set a precedent and invade a foreign country. For the first time ever, the Gringo Nation will start an argument instead of reacting to outside aggression.

This weekend, a "Wave of Peace" if you will, is going to roll around our tiny blue planet. Many people in many countries will publicly display their dislike for unnecessary violence and the death of innocent multitudes.
I optimistically think that this demonstration will make a difference.

While the Stupid Threesome is flying to and meeting on the Azores, the rest of the world will make its opinion known.

During this little excursion, financed by their loyal taxpayers allowing them to flee from the truth, war mongering world leaders are isolating themselves from the real world.

At a Costa Rican Gringo level it will not make much difference. Sure, the prices of some goods and gasoline have been going up and this is being blamed on the pending conflict...

I believe that! I also believe that the Pope is Jewish, Hell freezes over and that wild bears don't shit in the woods.

Meanwhile, I wouldn't mind playing "chess" with a certain prosecutor. I also wouldn't mind meeting a "judge" called Sanchez. I also like fighting without gloves, it hurts a little but it pays off so infinitely more.

Back to the beginning; when you are fighting for somebody who does not approve of these kind of low-down-and-dirty means, what are you to do?
Fight honorably?
Is there such a thing?
Take punches for The Greater Good and Proper Justice?

If the end does not justify the means, most religions can not continue to excuse their existence.

For I am starting to feel like part of a crusade. A crusade that must counter a yet to be identified evil force and match its ruthless methods.

We are talking about a few who are willing to sacrifice the financial well-being of many to satisfy their own greed. It is as simple as that.
What kind of sick mind is willing to bankrupt many for his own personal gain?

A very sick and selfish one, that's what! But this insignificant and selfish entity will soon find out what the righteous are willing to do to reclaim what is rightfully theirs to begin with.

The truth is not pretty, and the next few weeks will bring an unprecedented effort to counter these ill intentions.

Film at Eleven!
