Costa Rican Gamblers Set
Their James Bond #6 Odds
With the next James Bond film,
Casino Royale announced, many
fans of the James Bond franchise
would like to see Pierce Brosnan
return as James Bond for a fifth
time. The big question is, will
Pierce return, or will a new
actor take his place?
Betting in Costa Rica has
stepped up since a national
chain of betting shops set new
odds this week.
"Over the past few years,
gamblers have been tuning into
pop culture and betting on
everything from reality TV and
celebrity romances to trial
verdicts. Online gambling is no
longer focused solely on sports;
entertainment wagers are gaining
popularity amongst bettors,"
says Frederick Gray of
BetEmpire.com. "The Next Bond
craze is just one of many new
betting options available to our
players."
According to Gray, Internet
gambling now appeals to a new
demographic that no longer just
includes the typical sports
bettor. "Now men and women can
experience the same exhilaration
that sports fans experience when
they lay down a wager on their
favorite team. Placing a wager
heightens the excitement around
the casting of an important role
like James Bond," said Gray.
"Who knows, perhaps Samuel L.
Jackson will get his wish and be
cast as a Bond Villain in this
movie. If that turns out to be
the case then those who have
wagered on such an outcome at
BetEmpire.com will be in the
money," finished Gray.
The top Bond contenders (and
their odds at the time of this
release on BetEmpire) are as
follows:
James Purefoy (125) - Favorite
Goran Visnjic (175)
Henry Cavill (200)
Pierce Brosnan (250)
Dominic West (250)
Julian McMahon (900)
