  Cheaper Internet Coming Our Way

Cheaper Internet Coming Our Way
The internet may be soon be cheaper as the technicians of the Autoridad Reguladora de Servicios Públicos (Aresep) are recommending that ICE reduce its internet rates by 50%.

If the recommendation is approved, the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) will be forced to reduce its internet connection rates from $41 to $19 monthly for connections speeds of 256Kbp.

The rate does not include an additional $1 for the modem rental and the 13% sales tax on services.

The Aresep said that the recommended rates are the maximum and ICE could charge even less.
