Father Abuses Daughter For Father's Day Celebrations
A man brought Father's Day to a different level yesterday when he took advantage of being left alone with his 13 year old daughter decided to sexually assault. The man, identified only by his last name, Salas Alvarez, was surprised by his wife who walked in on the assault of her daughter. Horrified, she immediately called police.

The 41 year old man, it appears, decided to celebrate Father's Day by forcing his 13 year old daughter to have sex with him, taking advantage of the good relationship he had with his daughter.

The dramatic scene took place in San Rafael de Patio de Agua de Coronado before noon when the young girl's mother had gone out shopping and without suspecting anything, left the girl with her father as normal.

The woman, identified only by her last name, Guardia, told police that she came home and entered the house calmly. When she went to one the bedrooms, she opened the door and there was the man having sex with his daughter and without remorse.

The woman immediately called 911. Two officers of the Fuerza Pública (police) immediately responded to the call and took the man into custody.

Authorities say that it appears the young girl had been sexually assaulted on previous occasions but had kept it quiet, especially from her mother, being constantly threatened by her father. When questioned by police and with her father in police custody, she told them of the abuses and that she had been a victim for some time.

Salas Alvarez did not put a fight when police took him into custody in front of his daughter and her mother and is now in custody as ordered by the Juzgado de Turno Extraordinario en el Segundo Circuito Judicial de Goicoechea waiting on a regular judge to order preventive detention (jail).
