Argentina, Bolivia Highlight
Integration
Presidents of Argentina and
Bolivia, Nestor Kirchner and Evo
Morales, highlighted on Thursday
the pro-Latin America,
pro-integration essence of new
agreements signed between both
countries in the energy field.
During a mass gathering in the
locality of Hurlingham, in
Buenos Aires, Morales
appreciated the solidarity
expressed by the Argentinean
government in accepting an
increase in the price of
Peruvian natural gas sold to
Buenos Aires, as it means a
relief to his poor country's
economy.
The Bolivian president also
highlighted the assistance
received from Venezuela and Cuba
in several fields.
On his part, Kirchner referred
to the generosity and
magnanimity of the dialogue
sustained with his guest and
said the agreements signed
between the parties will
contribute to both people's
growth.
After describing Morales as a
friend, a brother, the Argentine
president said that, under
Morales' leadership, Bolivia is
recovering its dignity and is on
the way to properly position
itself in Latin America.
