Child Sex Suspect Nabbed in Costa Rica
A Georgetown, Texas, man wanted on allegations that he sexually assaulted a child in Williamson County, Texas,  was found in Costa Rica and is awaiting extradition.

Richard Pate, 50, was arrested Saturday in Atenas, west of San José, by authorities after the U.S. embassy revoked his passport.

He was deported Tuesday night to Miami, where he was detained by the Dade County sheriff's office.

U.S. authorities learned that Pate was in Costa Rica in June 2006. The Lone Star Fugitive Task Force issued a federal warrant, and Costa Rican authorities found his residency to be illegal after his passport was revoked.
