Arrival of China's Ambassador to Costa Rica Expected Today
The future Chinese ambassador to Costa Rica, Wang Xiaoyuan, is expected to arrive tonight and to present his credential next Monday to the Cancillería (Chancellery).

China's foreign ministry confirmed that Xiaoyuan will be the appointed representative in Costa Rica and will be in charge of taking care of business, waiting on his country to designate his status officially.

Xiaoyuan is leaving his post as ambassador in Uruguay to come to Costa Rica and worked in Chinese embassies in Mexico, Spain and Brazil, among others.
