blasted on Friday in a lottery and stake
business in downtown area of Armenia city in
western Colombia, injuring at least 13 people,
according to the local police.
Eleven of the victims were passers-by and the
two others were employees of the Ochoa lottery
and stake business, located near Armenia's
mayorship and National Administrative Statistics
Department (DANE).
The two injured employees, hospitalized in
emergency rooms, were now in critical
conditions, while the other 11 victims suffered

The explosive device was allegedly placed in the
shop's restroom by someone who played a slot
machine before the blast, the police said in
Quindio's capital of Armenia, 192 km west of
Bogota.
A vehicle passing by the business when the bomb
exploded was damaged by the blast wave.
