Spa College to hold two training courses in Costa Rica
Spa College – the internet-based training provider owned by Liz Galloway and Nicolay Kreidler – is to host a series of customised spa training packages in Costa Rica, beginning on 4 November.

The five-day intensive program in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, will comprise Element I and Element II in Spa Therapy and Advanced Spa Therapy – designed primarily for massage therapists, aestheticians, spa technicians and cosmetologists.

Core principles, mechanics and practical application of treatments will be taught and students will receive a certificate of completion as well as Continuing Education credits (CE hours) from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork in the US (NCBTMB).

As part of the program, a two-day spa manager seminar will also be offered. This will focus on teaching managers how to implement spa treatments, from writing spa menus to communication skills.

The courses have been designed to be independent of any particular vendor and will include the most widely available products that can be sourced locally.
