Rica Wants Kids off Drugs
More
than half the number of secondary schoolchildren
in Costa Rica surveyed assure that drugs are
easily available in their schools, a specialized
source revealed.
According to the Costa Rican Institute on Drugs
(ICD) the situation is serious in the province
of Puntarenas where students revealed that drugs
are available in 75 percent of the schools.
Nine percent of those surveyed believed that the
teachers should investigate the issue,
confiscate the drugs and prevent detrimental
action against the young person.
The drugs available go from marijuana, crack and
cocaine, in descending order.
