Four Women Dead in Four Days
From Domestic Violence
During the last week a wave of
passional crimes has hit the
country, leaving four women dead
at the hands of their lovers, in
the last four days. And in the
place of being killed in the
home, all four deaths occurred
in the open streets, in view of
the public.
Taxi
Drivers To Strike in April
Without giving many details, the
leaders of the Sindicato
Costarricense de Taxistas (Sicota)
union, said yesterday that ther
will be a "taxi" drivers strike
sometime near the end of April.
The strike is to protest the
unfulfilled obligations of the
Ministerio de Obras Públicas y
Transportes (MOPT).
