Canadian With Ties To Hells Angels Turned Back At the Airport
A Canadian known for his association with the "Hells Angels" was refused entry into Costa Rica by immigration officials at the Juan Santamaría (San José) international airport and was returned back to Canada on the return flight to Toronto.

Immigration officials were on the alert for the arrival of James William Miller, 43 years of age, and a native of Ottawa, Canada, after being tipped off by the international police organization, INTERPOL.

According to INTERPOL, the Canadian is part of the motorcycle gang that is tied to a number of crimes that include money laundering and use of prohibited weapons.

Miller arrived on Saturday on a direct flight from Toronto and although there were no outstanding warranties against the man, Costa Rican immigration authorities deemed the man dangerous and refused his entry.

"It was decided to refuse him, that is not allow him to enter the country for security reasons", said Francisco Castaing, head of the Policía de Migración (immigration police).

Miller was held under closed guard for some time by immigration officials while immigration authorities negotiated with the airline to get him a seat on the next flight to Toronto.
