Aerolineas Argentinas' Future on Debate
BUENOS AIRES - Debates by the Senate Transportation and Finance and Budget Commissions on turning Aerolineas Argentinas-Austral (AA) state-run should close today.

Senator Daniel Persico, from the government Frente para la Victoria, says his block will approve the Law as the House already did.

Persico called sensible turning this company that ex President Carlos Menem sold to Iberia in 1991 and is operated by the Spanish private company Marsans since 2001.

Company liabilities will also become law following Valuation Court rule.

The Senate will discuss Wednesday AA unions' demand to turn the company state-run due to Marsas disastrous management, Persico said it may happen if the Spanish company rejects the Court ruling.
