Car Accidents In Bolivia Kill 19
At least 19 people have been killed and more than 16 injured in two separate car accidents in Bolivia, according to information reaching here from La Paz, the country's administrative capital.

A bus carrying 28 passengers plunged off a cliff in Sama hill on Friday morning, just 20km from its destination -- the capital of Tarija state.

Eight people were killed and 16 injured in the accident.

Another accident, which claimed the lives of seven persons, occurred in the department of La Paz Thursday night when a vehicle crashed into a bus on the Desaguadero highway connecting Bolivia with Peru.

The cause of the accidents is under investigation.
