No Vehicular Restrictions of San Jose For Semana Santa

The Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Transportes (MOPT) has lifted the vehicular restrictions of San Jose for Semana Santa, meaning that drivers can move about the San Jose centre without concern of the restrictions.

The only restriction that will continue to be applied is the Sunday restriction of all trucks over 6 tons.

On Sunday all heavy trucks are prohibited to circulate on the national highways, the autopistas General Cañas, Bernardo Soto, Florencio del Castillo, radial a Heredia, Cambronero and the toll booth on ruta 32 to Guápiles, between 2pm and 9pm.

The restriction is to allow a smooth flow of holiday traffic returning to San Jose.
