Ortega Thanks Radio Habana
Nicaraguan president, Daniel Ortega, thanked
Radio Habana Cuba (RHC) station for two
exclusive recordings by Frente Sandinista
founder Carlos Fonseca Amador, Bolsa de
Noticias newspaper reported.
According to the publication Ortega sent RHC
an autographed photograph with the figure of
General Augusto C. Sandino, made to
commemorate the 30th anniversary of the
Revolution.
Bolsa de Noticias reported that the
President expressed appreciation for the
exclusive broadcast recording with the voice
of Fonseca. "Thank you Radio Habana Cuba for
those words by Commander Carlos Fonseca,"
said the president's message.
The Commander in Chief of the Popular
Sandinista Revolution died on November 7,
1976, in a battle with forces of dictator
Anastasio Somoza's National Guard. |
