Colombian Leader Visits US
Bogota - Colombian President Alvaro Uribe is
visiting the US to attend Allen and Company Sun
Valley annual conference, which gathers business and
political leaders and personalities of philanthropy
as well as the cultural arena.
Uribe fulfills this visit accompanied by the
Minister of Trade, Industry and Tourism Luis
Guillermo Plata and Colombian Ambassador to
Washington Carolina Barco.
According to presidencial sources, the Colombian
leader will speak in the event about Colombian
achievements in several areas and will hold meetings
with important US businessman.
The gathering, coordinated by Allen and Company
President Herbert Allen, will take place on
