Most Bolivians Support President
La Paz - Most Bolivians support President Evo
Morales'' administration, started in 2006, revealed
a poll published on Sunday by Cambio daily.
The newspaper said 54 percent of the people that
live in the cities of La Paz, Cochabamba, Santa Cruz
and El Alto supports the Executive.
Those polled said Morales cares about and helps the
poor, and highlighted distribution of economic aid,
as Juancito Pinto bond to school children, Dignity
Rent pension to the elderly, and Juana Azurduy bond
to pregnant women and minors under two years of age.

Company said the poll, carried out in May, showed
the people's support for Evo Morales increased in
six percent, in relation to the 48 percent revealed
in March of the present year.
Other people polled highlighted as achievements by
the current Bolivian government nationalization of
hydrocarbons in May, 2006 and the economic and
social changes experienced.
They also spoke about the recovery of strategic
entities, as the National Telecommunication Company
and British Air BP Oil Company to guarantee aircraft
oil supply.
Morales also issued five decrees to favor workers in
May, 2009, regarding a compensation for 90 working
days, labor rights, occupational security, a bond to
public servants and a regulation about the union
contribution, those polled said. |
