Panama for Seasonal Flu Vaccination
Panama - Panamanian health authorities will hold a
national vaccination campaign this weekend
against seasonal influenza for people under
five years of age and over 50, informed
official sources.
Officials of the Health Ministry indicated
that this action is to prevent disease in
vulnerable groups as well as its application
on persons with chronic illnesses.
The action also includes vaccination against
pneumococcus for people over 60.
Fixed commercial and health centers as well
as transportation terminals in the
metropolitan region of the capital have been
set up.
Also, the institution will maintain
attention posts in each of the provinces and
regions that will be coordinated by health
offials each area. |
