The food-movie juggernaut rolls on: A new
documentary film from Fredrik Gertten
chronicles a nasty bit of food politics.
"Bananas!," explores the use of pesticides
and whether or not these chemicals caused
sterility in Nicaraguan workers.
Dole Food. is not happy and has challenged
the film's findings. The movie will be
screened in Los Angeles on June 20 and June
23. (Assuming alleged defamation lawsuit
threats don't suppress the unveiling.)
