Miss Costa Rica! To Costa Maya International Festival

Quien es esa niña, who’s that girl?  She is no other than Costa Rican beauty Jennifer Miranda Rodriguez. The 19-year-old brunette is five feet seven inches tall with deep green eyes.

Currently she is a student of Theatrical Arts at the Universidad de Costa Rica (UCR) and is studying the English language at the Centro Cultural Costarricense Norteamericano.

Jennifer enjoys acting, singing modeling and reading. Having participated in the Miss Costa Rica 2008 pageant, she strongly believes that she can do a fantastic job representing her home country at the 2009 Reina de la Costa Maya Internacional.

The Costa Maya Committee proudly announces that all countries participating in this year’s pageant have stated, “yes” to being a part of the prestigious event. All countries have submitted the names and profiles of their beauty ambassadors and are all eager to find out who will wear this year’s crown.

The International Costa Maya Festival (formerly The Sea & Air Festival) is the only festival of its kind in Central America. It is the biggest festival in Belize. It is the highlight of Ambergris Caye's entertainment year.

Parades, Music, Dancing, Delicious food, La Reina de la Costa Maya, Muscle men, Contests of many varieties, the Costa Maya Festival is an exciting celebration for everyone.

Originally established to engender good relationships between the Central American nations, it’s now in its 15th year.
