Computer and Accessories To Pricesmart For
Recycling
Have an old computer, printer, monitor or
parts that are of no use and haven't gotten
around to or don't know how to safely
dispose of them? Well, Pricesmart stores is
accepting all the used computer parts and
accessories at all its stores in Costa Rica,
this weekend.
Estimates are that some 20 tons of
electronic trash, some of which contains
toxic materials like lead, chrome and
mercury, are being stored in homes and
offices around the country.
Experts say that more than half of the items
can be recycled and metals and plastics
recovered.
The Fortech-Geep de Costa Rica group is
heading the recycling program.
