Guatemalan President to Visit Russia
GUATEMALA - Guatemalan President Alvaro Colom will make a three-days official visit
to this capital to meet with his Russian
peer Dmitri Medvedev, affirmed the
Guatemalan ambassador to Moscow, Arturo
Duarte Ortiz.
The President is expected to arrive on the
27th and will immediately travel to Saint
Petersburg where he will hold talks with
that city's governor Valentina Matvienko and
with the one from Leningrad Valeri Serdiukov,
declared Duarte Ortiz in exclusive for
Prensa Latina.
The Guatemalan leader is expected to meet
with Russian Ortodox Church patriarch Kiril
and hold official talks with Medvedev on
Monday 30th.
The Guatemalan diplomatic clarified that
Colom visit is the first of a Head of State
of his country to Russia which government
appointed an ambassador of that Central
American nation in December 2007. |
