El Salvador to Host Central
American Tourism Fair
SAN SALVADOR - El Salvador will host from
April 13 to 15the 3rd Central America
Tourism & Hotel Investment Exchange Fair,
which is the most important meeting on that
issue in the region, official sources
reported on Tuesday.
About 300 Central American businessmen, tour
operators and experts will attend the event,
said the El Salvador's Investment Promotion
Agency' investment advisor Mauricio Alvarez.
The official pointed out that the country
will promote five tourist projects before
the foreign guests.
The building of a modern hotel in the
International fair and conference centre in
the capital and the search for partner to
improve the hotel de Montaña are among the
future projects.
The other Central American countries will
also promote their tourist attractions and
will try to expand the investment in that
sphere, Alvarez explained.
