Lawyers Of Alleged Victims Of Abuse Want Former Priest in The US

The lawyers representing the alleged victims of Ernesto García Rubio did not know the whereabouts of the former Cuban Catholic church priest, who is rooted in Costa Rica since 2000.

Now that they know where the 72 year old former priest, they are taking steps in a US court and pressuring Miami Dave prosecutors to have García Rubio returned to the United States.

The form priest is accused of sexual abuse of minors between 1970 and 1980, with more than 80 charges files against him, mostly Cuban immigrants.

The lawyers representing the victims feel it is imperative that the García Rubio face the charges in the United States.
