Job Fair On Friday With An
Eye On 500 Jobs
Purdy Motor, Manpower and Ericsson are a few
of the 70 companies taking part in the Expo-Empleo
job fair that kicks off on Friday. The
companies are offering a variety of jobs in
the medical field to financial to working in
a hardware store and selling cars.
In addition, the internationals Boston
Scientific, Fujitsu, Qualcomm and Teletech
who required personnel with a command of
English.
For those who do not speak English, the Caja
Costarricense de Seguro Social (CCSS),
Popular Pensiones and ICE (Instituto
Costarricense de Electricidad) is offering
jobs to applicants with only Spanish.
A total of 500 jobs are expected to be up
for grabs.
The job fair is being held at the San José
Palacio beginning at 9am on Friday, April 9
and runs to Sunday, April 11.
The cost of entry is ˘2.000 colones (us$4
dollars) at the door (˘1.800 online) and
best to bring along a resume, both in print
and digital format.
