In her
show,
One
Funny
Mother:
I'm Not
Crazy,
comedienne
Dena
Blizzard
(pictured
at right
with her
melons)
shares a
story of
a
friend,
frantically
searching
for her
nipple.
According
to Dena,
her
friend
called
in a
panic,
asking
if Dena
had
received
a text
message
with her
friend's
nipple.
The text
had been
meant
for the
friend's
husband,
but
since he
had
never
received
the
message,
her
friend
was
understandably
concerned
that it
may have
inadvertantly
ended up
on
someone
else's
phone –
or on
the
internet.
(This
story is
much
funnier
when
Dena
tells it
- I
promise).
While
the
headlines
on
sexting
focus on
teenagers
and
celebrities
sending
nude
pictures
of
themselves
to a
boyfriend
or
girlfriend,
only to
find the
pictures
have
been
shared
with the
entire
internet
(I'm
looking
at you
Vanessa
Hudgens
and
Miley
Cyrus),
the
truth is
there is
another
demographic
of
people
engaged
in
sexting
–
grownups. |

Or, to be more
specific, crazy
busy moms
looking to spice
things up with
their
significant
other.
In her blog on
The Imperfect
Parent, the
Mominatrix (aka
Kristen Chase)
actually lists
sexting as one
of over 30
sexual
"challenges"
(it's #12
between kegels
and shower
together). She
also gives some
tips for safe
sexting
including double
checking the
number (so you
don't actually
send it to your
father-in-law),
keeping it
simple, and
making sure your
loved one has
the device on
their person
before sending
your message.
I will confess
that I've
considered the
idea of sexting
my husband, but
I am just not
that brave (or
naughty). But it
did get me
wondering –
