Guapiles Remains
Closed
Take note that
the San José -
Guapiles route
continues closed
due to mudslides
near the Zurquí
tunnel from the
heavy rain of
the past couple
of days.
Work crews have
been busy
cleaning up the
debris and it is
hoped that the
road will be
re-opened by
late afternoon
today
(Thursday).
Consejo Nacional
de Vialidad (Conavi)
say although the
expect the road
to re-open, it
may not be or
may have to be
closed again,
all depending on
the weather.
