on Alert

Salvadoran
authorities
maintained
a
preventive
warning
nationwide
on
Tuesday
due to
Tropical
Storm
Frank,
which
formed
in the
Pacific
Ocean
and
could
become a
hurricane.
According
to the
Civil
Defense,
rains
caused
by Frank
would
continue
to
affect
this
Central
American
nation
for
another
48
hours.
A report
of the
Civil
Defense
protection
maintained
its
green
alert
and
called
on the
population
to be
alert to
any
measure
it may
report,
mainly
in
regions
with a
high
risk of
flooding
and land
slides.
