Bolivia for Ethical,
Moral Revolution
COCHABAMBA, BOLIVIA - Bolivian President Evo
Morales called candidates for councilors and
governors from the ruling Movement towards
Socialism to carry out an ethical, moral
Revolution.
In a meeting with the future authorities at
the Cochabamba Rural House on Saturday,
Morales reviewed strategies and principles
ruling upcoming regional elections on April
4 and urged the hopefuls to be determined to
serve their people with transparency and
honesty, far from the possibility to engage
in corruption practices, otherwise, he asked
them to resign.
"Besides campaign issues, I have come here
to speak of an ethical revolution, and I
think I have authority to speak about an
ethical, a moral revolution," he stressed.
Morales questioned the colonial legacy of
seeing in public service a possible source
of making money and becoming rich.
He announced that he will lead changes in
the judicial power to prevent corruption and
delayed processes. |
