Panama To Auction $20 Million In T-Bills Today

PANAMA - Panama's government plans to auction $20 million in Treasury bills on Thursday through a public auction.

In a filing with the Panamanian Stock Exchange on Wednesday, the Economy and Finance Ministry said the T-bills will pay a coupon of 3.5% and mature May 30, 2013.

The ministry said interest will be paid twice a year from the date of issuance
