Foreign Presence in EXPOCOMER Fair

PANAMA - Exhibitors from more than 30 countries will participate in the 28th EXPOCOMER International Fair in Panama from March 3 to March 6.

Adolfo Linares, president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture of Panama (CCIAP), pointed out that several events will take place simultaneously as additional incentive to participants.

Inocencio Galindo, head of EXPOCOMER Organizing Committee, indicated that a Magisterial Symposium about Crisis Management will take place in this fair with the presence of some of the former Latin American presidents.

He mentioned the presence of former president Rafael Callejas (Honduras) and Ernesto Samper (Colombia). They are waiting for the confirmation of Alejandro Toledo (Peru) and Alvaro Arzu (Guatemala).

Galindo remembered that business reached 115.000.000 dollars in the last three years, to which were increase additional incomes of about 25. 000.000 dollars regarding accommodation, restaurants and transport.

The 97 percent of the 9.500 square miles of the exhibition area are already hired in ATLAPA Convention Center, which will host the fair.
