Part Of Thousands Across North America to
Focus on Marriage
Three hundred churches across the U.S. and
Canada will host the Focus on Marriage
simulcast on Saturday, including a church in
Costa Rica that will invite people to watch.
Focus on the Family is sponsoring the
marriage seminar. Organizers expect more
than 40,000 attendees.
Speakers include actor Kirk Cameron and
Stephen Kendrick, the creator of the movie
Fireproof.
Mitch Temple, director of marriage at Focus
on the Family, said the event should be a
relationship building point for couples.
"When we begin to reframe the way we see our
marriage, and we look at it through God's
eyes," he said, "it can really help just
about any kind of situation – whether you're
happily married or whether you're struggling
in your marriage." |
