Center for Opening and Development of Latin
America, an AmericasQuarterly.org partner
organization, Jorge Marshall Rivera argues
that to confront Chile’s lingering
development challenges, state institutions
must be reformed.
While Chile has already made tremendous
progress, a new generation of reforms must
now address civil society, the management of
public policy and a deficiency in social
services, the report says. Rivera’s work
complements and analyzes proposals from
Chile’s Consortium for State Reform.
