Call To "120" Provides
Voting Information
With less than 15 days to go before the
February 7 presidential elections, many
Costa Ricans still do not know where they
are registered to vote.
For that, the Tribunal Supremo de Elecciones
(TSE) - elections tribunal - has partnered
with the Instituto Costarricense de
Electricidad (ICE) - state telecom - with
providing a toll free line to call for
information.
Callers need only dial 120, provide their
cedula number and information on where to
vote will be provided.
A text message including the cedula number
can also be sent to 120 to obtain the
information.
The service is free of charge and can be
called from a cellular phone or fixed line
phone.
