Nicaragua Economy to
Grow in 2010
MANAGUA - The Nicaraguan government is
hopeful their economy will recover in 2010,
presidential economical aide of President
Daniel Ortega, Bayardo Arce, stated here.
The official, one of the Commanders that led
the revolutionary triumph in 1979, said
forecasts for 2010 say the economy is
expected to grow plus one percent, while
inflation should reach three to five
percent.
The government hopes to meet those goals by
implementing five projects on renewable
energy and the construction of 4,000 social
houses for low-income families, Arce told TV
Channel Multinoticias on Tuesday.
