Venezuela's Minister of Interior and
Justice, Tarek El Aissami, confirmed on
Saturday that after the Salvadorian-born

airport, the inquiries that determined the
intentions of his trip to Venezuela began.
Up until this moment, Chavez Abarca's has
stated that he came to this country to begin
a series of terrorist attacks to unleash
violent and destabilizing events against
September 26 electoral process.
El Aissami added, at a press conference,
that Chavez Abarca had already contacted
fascist groups of the counterrevolution that
would cooperate with him to reach these
objectives.
The minister recalled that oligarchy sectors
have revived their intentions to assassinate
President Hugo Chavez.
He recalled that Chavez Abarca was trained
and commanded by terrorist Luis Posada

Despite his criminal record, his rights and
the due process have been guaranteed, El
Aissami underlined.
