Alert For Two
Tropical Storms
The Comisión
Nacional de
Emergencias (CNE)
says it is ready
to battle the
two tropical
storms that the
Instituto
Meteorológico
Nacional (IMN)
is forecasting
for the next 48
hours, that is
expected to dump
a lot of water
in all areas of
the country.

The CNE has
already issued a
"yellow" alert
for the Central
and South
Pacific coasts,
after Quepos and
Manuel Antonio
was hard hit
earlier this
week, as strong
winds and heavy
rains knocked
over trees and
power lines,
destroying
completely
several homes,
partially
damaging many
more, floods and
leaving some
ares without
electrical
power.
The CNE
recommends for
people to be
vigilant of the
rising water of
the rivers
caused by the
downpours.
