San José, La
Unión,
Curridabat,
Desamparados,
Montes de Oca,
Goicoechea,
Moravia and
Coronado you may
be one of the
460.000 people
that will be
without water
this weekend.
The Instituto
Costarricense de
Acueductos y
Alcantarillados
(AyA) and the
Instituto
Costarricense de
Electricidad
(ICE) announced
that they will
be working on a
tunnel that
conducts water
from the rivers
Grande de Orosi
and Macho and
the LLano
reservoir.
The work is
expected to
begin Saturday
night at 7pm and
be completed by
the early hours
of Sunday
morning, in an
effort to affect
as little of the
population as
possible.
