Salvador Shocked by Terrorist
Attacks on Buses
SAN SALVADOR - The Salvadorian
population is still shaken by two attacks on
small buses that left 17 people dead, with
President Mauricio Funes calling them terror
acts.
According to press, relatives of the victims
have claimed justice, while waiting to
recover the charred bodies being identified
through DNA tests.
Panic has increased among Salvadorians, as
the majority of them use public transport to
get to workplaces.
Funes informed that at least seven persons
have been arrested for their possible
involvement in the two incidents reported in
the capital, and said some of those wounded
are still in serious condition.
He called upon the population not to panic
and trust his administration's strategic
plan against delinquency and organized
crime.
