Argentina Vs. EU Trade Dumping

BUENOS AIRES - Argentina's Industry and Tourism Minister Debora Giorgi denied restrictions on food imports from the European Union (EU) but stressed that it may and will stop products hurting the national industry through dumping.

Mrs. Giorgi -who has a degree in economics from the Catholic University of Buenos Aires, and is specialist in industrial, energy, mining and foreign trade policy- exposed EU Trade Secretary John Clancy allegations.

Former Production Secretary Eduardo Bianchi also denied delays on imports from the European bloc but reminded of the EU tight food imports laws and hoped the EU-MERCOSUR negotiations on the issue will be resumed.
