Arenal Volcano Puts On
Show For Visitors
Not to be left out, the Arenal Volcano
yesterday gave visitors to the colossus and
tourist area a great show, spewing gases and
rocks for more than five minutes.
Monday night the volcano Irazú concerned
area residents with a series a tremors
coming from the colossus, while the
Turrialaba volcano is taking a break from
constact activity during the last several
months.
Experts say the Arenal activity is normal,
though the acitivity is above normal.
The Arenal is located in La Fortuna de San
Carlos in the province of Alajuela, in the
north central part of the country, while the
Irazú and Turrialab, neighbours in terms of
volcanos, are located in the province of
Cartago, east of San José.
